Corbett National Park

In the winter, bird watching at Corbett National Park is a great opportunity to learn about the western Himalayan avifauna; Nainital is a beautiful base and hill town in the Kumaon area.

This hill station has an altitudinal range of 400 m to 2600 m, resulting in diverse bird life across the area. More than 660 bird species have been documented here, which is somewhat surprising.

Orange-flanked Bush Robin, Spotted Forktail, Chestnut-crowned Laughing Thrush, Red-billed Blue Magpie, and Black-headed Jay may be seen in Nainital and the surrounding hills wooded with oak and rhododendron.
